Tonight I thought we came in and played incredibly hard for 3 solid quarters. The game was close the entire time, and both teams played with a ton of heart. We got beat in the rebounding category once again by Oil City. This would most likely be the reason why they came out with the victory, but we had ourselves right in the game, down by 3 with about 3 minutes left to go in the game. 

Bringing the energy defensively in the first half specifically was Karson Chamberlin, who took two huge charge calls and erased 4 points off of the board. He led the team in steals with 2, came down with 6 big rebounds tonight. 

Corry only scored 4 points in the 4th quarter and had 3/4 timely turnovers in a row, which ultimately sealed the deal for Oil City. We had 10 total turnovers, and I know at least 5 of them were committed in the 4th quarter. 

Kamdyn Moon hit very timely shots the entire game I thought. He ended up with 14 points (4 of those being three point field goals) and was tied for game high with Markus Lambert who also had 14 points. Lambert also led us in the rebound category with 7. 

Rylan had 7 points, 5 rebounds. Cameron Ricketts had 3 really nice buckets underneath. 

As a whole I thought we really played hard, physical, and gave it all we had for 3 1/2 quarters. Costly mistakes in close games are what hurt us late in the game. We were also 5-5 in free throws going into the 4th quarter and went 0-3 after. 

Friday Night we will be back at it at Franklin, in this incredibly talented region we are in.
