Tonight the beavers went to Northwestern to take on the wildcats for the last non region contest of the year.

At the end of the first quarter we got up 19-3 and never looked back. Tonight our pressure was too much for them. They had a hard time bringing the ball up the court, and when the wildcats were able to get a shot I thought they were contested most of the night. Creating a lot of that chaos was Karson who led us tonight with 5 steals, 

Tonight we really didn’t shoot the ball that well from beyond the arc, but our defense was able to make up the difference to get some easier looks inside. We shot 40% going 26-65 from the floor. Tonight we shot 86% from the free throw line going 13-15, which is great to see the continues consistency.

Offensively we had a very even scoring attack amongst several players. Leading the way was Rylan Smith with 16, Markus Lambert with 14, Kamdyn Moon with 11, Karson Chamberlin with 9, Jack Albers with 7, Tavon Kornikoski with 6, Brenden Lindstrom with 5, Frisina with 3, and Scouten with 3.

Leading the way in assist was Rylan with 6.

The Corry Boys Basketball Team looks forward to competitive regional play going forward, starting off with CASH next Tuesday. The varsity squad completes its non-region schedule with a record of 10-2
