Corry came out on top of the Grape Pickers by a score of 56-53. We came out and took the first quarter lead by a score of 16-14. Smith and Moon had 5 a piece and Lambert with 6. Right from the tip, the game was physical and officials let us play. 

The intensity on the defensive side from all five guys was excellent in the first half. Our Communication was great, we didn't allow easy dribble drive opportunities, and easy shots around the hoop. Markus did a great job on Shunk, who had some height on him. We went into the half with a nice 9 point lead. 

A key factor in the first half is that we only had three first half turnovers. 

Key players in the first half was Tavon and Cameron. Tavon made some big hustle plays and Cameron came in and had 5 rebounds, a charge, and just played nice minutes. 

After the half, we came out flat  and didn't have much energy. We started to allow some dribble drives to the hoop, Shunk got some easy shots close to the hoop, and we played sloppier then we had all game. That kind of play put North East up by one after the 3rd. They scored 10 more points  then we did that quarter, in which we only scored eight all by Markus. 

During the fourth quarter we got done as many as 4 points. Kamdyn Moon came in clutch during the 4th quarter scoring a team high 10 points in the fourth. We were struggling and he came through. I told Kamdyn at the beginning of the season that this year should be his most enjoyable year. He has two guys in front of him that teams are really going to key on, and he is going to get a lot of nice open shots. He got those tonight and connected in a very timely manner. He was definitely the difference in the game tonight in the second half. 

Markus really brought his game tonight pouring in 25 total and had some clutch free throws at the end of the game. Karson hit a free throw late to put us up 3 with 6 seconds left to go. To end the game we used the new foul rule to our advantage and fouled as they started to dribble to take some time off the clock and make them take the ball out to waist some clock. We did that to where we only had 2.3 left on the clock and they had to take a long shot that was tipped to finish game. 

Rylan played tough all game and he finished with 9 points and 4 assists, kudos to Noah Crozier. He defended hard tonight and gave him all he could handle. 

Kornikoski finished with 2 points and 6 rebounds 

Chamberlin finished with 3 assists and 5 points and took a huge charge. He played the entire game at an extremely high level. He is all over the place defensively .. He is a huge part to our pressure. 

Moon fished with 15 points and was a key to our win tonight.
