Boys Middle School Football vs. Fairview High School

Lose: 0 - 28
The Middle School Football team traveled to Fairview and lost 28-0. Our guys came off a week where we played our best game of the year, and we had a great week of practice we thought. We acted like we were lost on the field and had a lot of missed opportunities. We ran plays well and allowed guys to make tackles that shouldn't have even been in the play. Lamech Albers ran the ball hard on our final drive to at least give us a positive feeling. We are currently 1-5 on the year and host Northwestern who is 0-6 next Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. We need to have a great week of practice and play fundamentally sound football on Wednesday. We need to go out with and attitude and play to have fun and put this behind us.

Boys Middle School Football vs. General Mclane High School

Lose: 14 - 16
The Middle School football team hosted General McLane on Wednesday. The Beavers fell short with the score being 16-14. The Beavers defense played great all night. We had 5 takeaways on defense. 4 fumbles and 1 interception. The fumbles were recovered by Deion Canady, Jack Vanchieri and Lamech Albers had two. Carson Braswell had the interception for the Beavers. We gave up a huge play in the first half that they scored on. We played the best game that we have had all season. They are continuing to improve every week. The Beavers had a 20 yard touchdown run by Jack Vancheiri to start us off. The Beavers second score was a 28 yard catch and run from Vancheiri to Ian Shotts and Dieon Canady added the 2 pt conversion. The Beavers travel to Fairview next Wednesday with kickoff at 4:30.
Boys Middle School Football vs. Ft. Leboeuf HS

Lose: 0 - 30
The middle school football team traveled to Fort Leboeuf yesterday and lost. The score was 30-0. The beavers did have highlights in the game but never got the ball in the endzone. We were 1st and goal from the 2 yard line and guys not executing and doing their jobs kept us out. We dropped a ball in the endzone as well that drive. Defensively we gang tackled well at times. Carson Braswell recovered a fumble on defense for the Beavers. We are 1-3 on the year. We have General McLane next week at home. We then travel to Fairview on October 12th and finish out the year on October 19th at home against Northwestern. General McLane is a big team with lots of big guys. They are physical and our guys must show up to play. We need to have a great week of practice and our guys have to study film.
