North East: 4-3-2-1-----10

Corry faced off against North East today in their first of four games this week. The Beavers ended quarter one tied at 4 apiece with the Grapepickers. In the second, Corry was able to start building a lead by winning the quarter 7 to 3 and headed into halftime up 11-7. Corry continued to dominate in the second half, winning both quarters and sealing the win with a final score of 22-10. 

I was proud of our play in the second half. Our defense held them to 3 pts and helped spark some offense for us in transition. 

Ava West led all scorers with 16 pts to go along with 10 rebounds and 8 steals. 2 steals away from a triple double was pretty cool to see. Ava is always giving maximum effort and it showed again in today's game. Maci Kemp followed with 4 pts, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. Mikayla Comitz had 2 pts, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals. Liv Swan had 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Jordyn Watrous had 2 rebounds-3 steals followed by Hannah Daniels with 2 rebounds-1 steal, Delaney Church with 2 rebounds-1 assist-1 steal, and Emma Kight with 2 rebounds.
