The Lady Beavers hosted Northwestern Thursday afternoon for an 8th grade only game due to Northwestern only having one team. Corry built an early 11-0 lead after quarter one and never looked back. Corry was able to win or tie every quarter and finished with a 42-23 win.

The girls played well. We were able to run our offense and practice playing different positions. The girls are going to enjoy some time off since their next game is a week away.

Mikayla Comitz led us offensively with 12 pts, 1 rebound, and 1 steal followed by Baylee Northrop with 11 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Ava West had 7 pts, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Maci Kemp finished with 4 pts, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. Jordyn Watrous: 2 pts, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Liv Swan had 2 pts and 1 rebound followed by Delaney Church with 2 pts-1 rebound, Ellie Harvey with 2 pts-1 rebound, Hannah Daniels with 1 rebound-1 steal, and Emma Kight with 2 rebounds.

7th grade plays next Tuesday at home for a 7th grade only game against Westlake.
