Corry came out on fire in the third to take a commanding 27-9 lead. Corry finished the game in the 4th by winning the quarter 6-4 and the game 33-13 Corry.

I really liked how we were sharing the ball. We ended with 8 assists. We've got one practice tomorrow before a double header on Thursday and Friday.

Ava West led us with a career high 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 7 steals.  Maci Kemp had 2 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Baylee Northrop finished with 3 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals. Liv Swan had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal. Mikayla Comitz had 2 points and 3 rebounds. Corry: 8-4-4-5. 21

NE: 4-7-3-6. 20

The 7th graders faced North East Tuesday. Corry gave up four points early in the game, but was able to rattle off 8 straight points to go ahead 8-4.  North East battled back in the second, but Corry still held a one point lead at the half. Both teams battled in the Third, but Corry kept their lead, now up by two. The game was tight in the fourth. Corry drained 3 of their four foul shots which made the difference. North East had several chances with less than a minute to go. Corry's defense was intense and kept North East from winning the game. Corry was led by Ellie Harvey who had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, Cate Moore with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals,  and CC Hodak with 4 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Aspen Trask added four rebounds, Makenzie Proper added 2 rebounds, and Lilianna Richardson with a rebound and a steal. I was happy with how the girls were able to handle the pressure at the end of the game. It was a good learning experience for them, and winning the game was a bonus. We face Fairview at home on Thursday.
