Corry started their season with a home game against General Mclane. Corry came out on fire on both sides of the floor, holding GM to 2 pts in the 1st to take an 11-2 lead and never looked back. Corry went into halftime up 21-11 and finished the game with a final score of 37-26.

I couldn't have asked for a better first game. The girls were locked in early and firing on all cylinders. We played a very clean game (only 7 turnovers) against a tough opponent. 

Leading the way for Corry was Ava West with 13 pts, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 6 steals. Baylee Northrop ended with 12 pts, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. Maci Kemp had 6 pts, 5 rebounds, and 1 awesome charge. Mikayla Comitz finished with 4 pts, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. Liv Swan had 2 pts, 2 rebounds, and 1 block. Delaney Church finished with 1 steal while Emma Kight and Jordyn Watrous grabbed 1 rebound each. Jordyn and Mikayla were tasked with guarding GM's Mia Washburn and did a very nice job of slowing her down and making her earn all 13 points of hers.

Corry is back in the gym working on getting better while preparing for our first away game against Harborcreek on Thursday.
