I liked our energy in the 3rd quarter and the start of the 4th. They came out strong and played tough. We need to learn from this game and continue to get better.

7th grade game

Corry 7-5-9-6   27

General McLane 0-2-1-10. 13

Corry started out strong in the first quarter and never looked back. The girls were attacking the hoop and either scored or drew a foul. Four different girls contributed  seven points, while holding General McLane to zero. The girls kept the intensity up, winning the second quarter 5 to 2 to go up 12 to 2 at halftime. There was no let up after the break. The girls scored nine points to GM's one. General McLane was finally able to put more points on the board in the fourth quarter winning 10 to 6. The damage was done however, Corry taking home the win 27 to 13.  The seventh graders controlled the game right from the jump. Their hustle was unmatched and GM struggled to keep up. Corry is at home on Thursday against Girard.
