The Corry JV football team travelled to Meadville to take on the Bulldogs on Saturday morning, and lost by a final score of 58-0.

While there were many things that went wrong in the game, there were some bright spots. Corry was able to move the ball through the air against the Bulldogs, with Lucas Baker going 11-15 for 77 yards. He distributed the ball equally amongst his targets, with Noah Fisher leading the team with 4 catches for  35 yards. Gabe Scouten and Marshall Morris each had three catches as well. Frankie Barr was the leading rusher with 4 carries for 12 yards. 

On defense, the Beavers were led by Fisher, who had 7 tackles and a forced fumble. Jack Hallberg had six tackles, while Greyson Linkerhof had two tackles for loss. Gavin Greer had a fumble recovery.  

Corry varsity travels on Thursday night to take on Oil City, while the JV team will have their first home game on Saturday against Oil City at 10:00 a.m.
