The Corry XC teams swept visiting Warren on Tuesday. The high school boys team improved to 2-1 with a dominant 15-49 victory over the Dragons. Even though the boys have been racing really often and the competition hasn't been stellar, they are still working really hard and doing everything they can to improve. Stephen Brady won the race in 18:39 and Fabian Fourspring was right behind him in 2nd place with a time of 18:44. Corry took the next four spots as well with Tony Kerr (3rd, 19:01), Tavon Kornikoski (4th, 19:31), Judah Zinz (5th, 21:08), and Roo Hellyer (6th, 21:10) helping to seal the victory. The high school girls team improved to 3-0 with a 23-38 victory. Jordan Fox continued her great start to the season with a win in a time of 21:28 on the tough, muddy home course. Haeleigh Bayle (4th, 23:09), Shay Linden (5th, 24:50), Teya Bailey (6th, 25:30), Teryn Bailey (7th, 26:07), Gwen Adams (8th, 26:27), and Addison Pillar (9th, 27:29) rounded out the top seven for the Beavers. Both of the middle school teams improved to a perfect 3-0 on the season as the boys won 22-35 and the girls won 15-50. Top performers included Paxton Zinz (1st, 10:22), Weston Atha (2nd, 10:37), Chloe Jaworski (2nd, 11:33), Finley Fourspring (3rd, 11:48), Laikynn Bayle (4th, 11:52), Brock Anthony (5th, 12:04), Cora Bowen (5th, 13:31), Bryce Chelton (6th, 12:09), and Zoey Higby (6th, 13:32).
