Corry started off the second half of region play against General Mclane.  The lady Beavers traded baskets with the Lancers to begin the game.  After quarter 1, GM had a 7-5 lead.  The Lancers were able to extend their lead to 11 to head into halftime with a score of 19-8.  Corry’s struggles continued into the second half.  The Beavers finished the game with a 45-20 loss.

It was a disappointing game.  Top to bottom, we did not play well and that is on me.  We have two practices to get better and prepare for our next game.

Offensively, we were led by Halle Albers with 6 pts followed by Haley Mumau with 4 pts-1 assist, Rylee Nickerson with 3 pts-1 assist, Sadye Dyne with 3 pts, Grace Allen with 2 pts-2 assists, and Kaygen Rogers with 2 pts-1 assist. Nickerson finished with 12 rebounds followed by Dyne with 7 rebounds-1 steal-2 blocks, Allen with 6 rebounds, Regan Kemp with 2 rebounds-2 steals-4 blocks, Rogers with 2 rebounds-2 steals, Mumau with 2 rebounds-1 steal, Albers with 1 rebound-1 steal, and Molly Irwin with 1 steal.
