Corry squared off against Northwestern at the ECL Classic held in Fairview Friday afternoon. Northwestern jumped out to a 19-10 halftime lead on their way to a 43-24 victory.
Other than the 3rd quarter, I thought we played well. We had plenty of good looks at the rim. We just couldn't get them to fall.
Leading the way for Corry was Grace Allen with 10 pts followed by Haley Mumau with 6 pts-2 assists, Halle Albers with 3 pts-2 assists, Sadye Dyne with 2 pts-2 assists, Regan Kemp with 2 pts-1 assist, and Rylee Nickerson with 1 pt-1 assist.
Nickerson finished with a team high 16 rebounds while Dyne and Mumau had 6 rebounds each, Allen had 3 rebounds, and Albers, Rogers, and Kemp had 1 rebound each.
