Corry hosted Conneaut in a key region matchup. Corry found themselves down 2-14 after quarter 1 and was never able to make up the deficit. Corry ended up winning each of the next three quarters 33-29, but lost the game 35-43. This is just another learning experience that we needed to go through as a team. I am very proud of how the girls responded in the second half.
Leading us offensively was Halle Albers and Grace Allen with 14 points each followed by Haley Mumau with 4 points, Lauren Thomas with 2 points, and Rylee Nickerson with 1 point. Defensively, we were led by Albers with 3 steals followed by Sadye Dyne, Mumau, and Nickerson with 2 each and Allen with 1. Mumau led us on the boards with 8 followed by Nickerson with 7, Allen with 6, and Thomas, Albers, Dyne, and Kaygen Rogers with 2 each.
