Corry hosted Meadville in a region girls basketball game Thursday night.  Corry recognized seniors Lauren Thomas and Kaycee Porter during Senior Night Festivities prior to the start of the game.  Once the game started, Corry jumped out to a 17-0 lead and never looked back.  Corry was able to play great team basketball while at the same time securing the win 55-9.  

Our seniors played great tonight.  Kaycee ended with 9 pts and 5 assists.  Lauren finished with 10 rebounds, 2 pts, and 1 assist.  It was great to see them play so well on such an emotional night.  Other girls who contributed offensively for Corry were Kaygen Rogers with 11 pts, Grace Allen with 9 pts-2 assists, Sadye Dyne with 7 pts-5 rebounds, Halle Albers with 4 pts-3 assists, Alison Yetzer with 4 pts, Lindsey Hasbrouck with 3 pts-10 rebounds, Haley Mumau with 3 pts, Reagan Porter with 2 pts, and Rylee Nickerson with 1 pt, and Regan Kemp with 1 assist.

As a coach, I love seeing all twelve girls get varsity time and to have all twelve contribute offensively for us was just icing on the cake. I’m happy for the seniors.  I thought both girls had memorable games.
