Corry jumped out to an early 16-2 lead and never looked back. Corry ended up winning each quarter and the game with a final score of 45-19. All 11 girls scored for Corry with Grace Allen and Sadye Dyne leading the way with 8 pts each followed by Haley Mumau with 7 pts, Rylee Nickerson and Lindsey Hasbrouck with 5 pts each, and Halle Albers with 3 pts. Regan Kemp, Reagan Porter, Kaygen Rogers, and Lauren Thomas had 2 pts each while Alison Yetzer had 1 point.
Dyne led us on the boards with 9 followed by Nickerson with 7, and Thomas with 5.
It's always nice to get a win on the road and come away with no injuries, minus Nickerson's bloody nose.
We turn our focus to Thursday when we host Conneaut in a big region game. It is also Teen Dating Violence Awareness Night.
