Corry visited Erie in a non-region showdown Monday night. Corry started the game winning the first quarter 8-6 after a pair of threes by Halle Albers. From there Erie got hot and won the next three quarters for a final score of 67-24. Scoring for Corry was Grace Allen with 8, Albers with 6, Nickerson with 4, Lindsey Hasbrouck and Kaygen Rogers with 2 each, and Kaycee Porter and Haley Mumau with 1 each.
Give credit to Erie, they played faster and tougher than us. Like every game, we will learn from it and get better. Our focus turns towards Meadville for our second region game this Thursday. Varsity starts at 7 pm since there is no JV game. It's senior night so please come out and support.
