Corry hosted Oil City for our first region game.  Corry started off hot offensively, pouring in 15 points while holding Oil City to 9 points.  Corry’s offense cooled off in the 2^nd by only scoring 5 points but was able to still win the quarter by holding Oil City to 4.  With a 7 point lead for Corry heading into the 3^rd quarter, Oil City was able to get within 2 before Corry’s offense reignited.  Corry was able to score 11 points and extend their lead to 10 with a score of 31-21.  Corry stayed hot through the 4^th to earn the win with a final score of 48-32.

We knew going in that Liederbach was a force.  She is a talented player that can handle the ball, create for her teammates, and can score multiple ways.  We knew our defense had to be top notch and it was.  Our team defense really made it tough for Oil City to get any offensive rhythm.  I was very proud of how much energy and effort the girls put in on the defensive side of the floor.

Offensively, Grace Allen led us in scoring with 17 points/1 assist followed by Haley Mumau with 8 points/2 assists, Sadye Dyne with 7 pts/2 assists, Halle Albers with 5 points/4 assists, Rylee Nickerson with 5 points, Lauren Thomas with 4 points, and Kaygen Rogers with 2 points/1 assist.

Nickerson ended the game with a team high 9 rebounds followed by Allen with 8, Rogers with 6, Thomas with 5, Mumau with 4, Albers with 3, Dyne with 2, and Lindsey Hasbrouch with 1.
