Corry hosted Cambridge Springs Friday night for a non-region game. The Lady Beavers quickly found themselves down 8-0 and were forced to call a timeout. After regrouping, Corry started applying ball pressure and began chipping away at Cambridge's lead. Though Corry ended the quarter down 14-12, the deficit was nearly erased. Corry was poised for a big 2nd quarter and they delivered. With Corry's offense catching fire paired alongside their tenacious defense, Corry headed into halftime up 28-19. Corry continued their strong play in the 3rd, winning the quarter 14-9 and extending their lead to fourteen with a score of 42-28. From there, Corry was able to finish the game with a 52-39 win.

I was really proud with how the girls performed tonight. There were so many in game adjustments that the girls made that really showcase how far they have come. I thought it was a great team win for us. We had eight girls score points for Corry which is always nice to see.
