Corry squared off against FLB in another non region game held at Fairview's ECL Classic. Corry started off strong by winning the first quarter 6-4. Corry continued to battle in the 2nd and found themselves up 18-14 at the half. The 3rd quarter proved to be the difference maker, with FLB regaining the lead 27-22. Corry was unable to mount a comeback in the fourth and ended up losing 34-29.
Corry was led by Grace Allen who scored 9 points and had 3 assists followed by Rylee Nickerson with 8 points/1 assist, Haley Mumau with 8 points, Halle Albers with 2 points/1 assist, and Lauren Thomas with 2 points.
Nickerson continued her dominance on the boards with 14 rebounds followed by Allen with 6 and Kaygen Rogers with 3.
The girls learned a lot tonight which is always our primary focus.
