Corry had to face Reynolds in the consolation game at Northwestern's Tip-off Tournament. Both teams started out strong, finishing the quarter with a score of 12-10 Corry. The 2nd quarter is when Corry started pulling away. The combination of a pesky defense and great ball movement allowed Corry to win the quarter 14-3 and head into halftime up 26-13. The girls didn't take their foot off the pedal in the third. They won the quarter 16-6 and took a commanding 42-19 lead. From there, Corry was able to cruise in the 4th to earn their first win of the season and a 3rd place showing at the tournament with a final score of 51-30.

I loved our unselfish play. 18 of our 24 field goals were assisted. I also loved our energy on both sides of the court. All ten girls that played contributed to the win. Lauren Thomas led us offensively with 12 points and 1 assist. Lindsey Hasbrouck had 8 points. Grace Allen had 8 points and 6 assists. Kaygen Rodgers had 6 points while Halle Albers had 5 points and 4 assists. Rylee Nickerson also had 5 points and 1 assist. Haley Mumau had 4 points and 3 assists followed by Kaycee Porter with 2 points and 2 assists and Regan Kemp had 1 point and 1 assist. Defensively we were led by Porter with 5 steals, Albers with 4 steals, Rodgers and Mumau with 3 each, Nickerson and Alison Yetzer with 2 steals each, and Hasbrouck, Allen, and Kemp with 1 each. Allen led us on the glass with 16 rebounds followed by Hasbrouck with 7, Rodgers with 4, Porter and Nickerson with 3 each, Albers and Thomas with 2, and Mumau and Kemp with 1 each.
