Corry traveled to Fairview Thursday night to take on the Tigers in Region play. Fairview jumped out to an early 16-2 lead after knocking down four 3s. Corry answered in the second with a couple 3s by Halle Albers and a pair of buckets by Sadye Dyne to head into halftime down 25-14.

In the second half, the Lady Beavers continued to battle but ended up falling to the Tigers 26-47.

I am really proud of the girls. They didn't give up. A lot of teams would have laid down after the first quarter. We didn't, and that is what I am most proud of. We showed a lot of heart out there and a lot of growth. We competed against a top-tiered team. 

Leading the way for Corry was Albers with 9 pts-1 assist followed by Haley Mumau with 7 pts-1 assist, Rylee Nickerson with 4 pts-2 assists, Sadye Dyne with 4 pts, Kaygen Rogers with 2 pts-2 assists, and Grace Allen with 1 assist. 

Nickerson finished the game with 9 rebounds-2 steals followed by Mumau with 6 rebounds, Dyne with 4 rebounds, Allen with 3 rebounds-1 steal, Regan Kemp with 3 rebounds, Rogers with 1 rebound-1 steal, and Albers with 1 rebound.
