The Corry Beavers traveled to Albion to take on the Northwestern Wildcats and came home with a 76-37. Corry came out with the lead after the first quarter with a score of 22-6 behind some keys buckets from Nick Scouten and Parker Trask early. From then on we were able to open the game up more each quarter.

Once again we had a lot of scorers, leading the way tonight was Landon Deane with 17 points. It was nice to see him leading the scoring category as we will look for him to be a key part going do the stretch. He still needs to finish around the rim better and be a bit stronger, but tonight was a step in the right direction.

Nick Scouten had 16 points, Kamdyn Moon with 13, Trask with 8, and then we had 3 guys with 5 points (Frisina, Vanchieri, and Atha.)

Tonight we only had 6 threes, and did a lot of our scoring inside. It has been nice seeing our inside game come alive.

Northwestern did not have a player score in double digits, and our defense piled up 17 steals and created over 25 turnovers.

Other notable stats was Deane with 6 steals & Scouten with 4. Frisina had 6 rebounds & Trask with 5. Corry was 12-14 from the foul line at 85%.
