Corry Class of 2003 graduate Jody Burrows was recently inducted into the Metro Erie Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.  Jody was one of 9 inductees and she was nominated by her high school Coach Bill West.  

Burrows was a four time All-Erie County League basketball selection, second team PIAA all state nod as a senior and ranks third in all time scoring for the Lady Beavers.  Coached by Bill West, Jody and her teammates secured the first PIAA playoff basketball victory in Corry's history.

Jody went on to play Division 1 Basketball at Northeastern University.  Following her playing career she started her coaching career.  First, at Northeastern then at Bates College, Case Western Reserve University and the United States Naval Academy.  She is currently an assistant at Loyola Marymount in California. 

During her speech at the inductees dinner she thanked her high school coaches Bill West and softball coach Dale Henderson for believing in her and pushing her throughout her high school career.
