Corry Area High School is excited to announce that Head Girls' Volleyball Coach Kelly Goodsel has been named as the 2024-2025 PIAA/NFHS Girls' Volleyball Coach of the Year.

Per the PIAA press release, there were 25 coaches names across the state for all PIAA sponsored sports.  The honorees are chosen for their significant impact on their respective sports programs, the success of their teams, their commitment to PIAA, and their demonstration of outstanding sportsmanship throughout the year.  

Corry's Volleyball team earned the State Runner-Up title in 2024.   They are currently ranked #1 in the state per the AVCA Coaches poll.  The girls' success is both on and off the court - as they are multiple year recipients of the AVCA Academic Recognition.  They also host a Charity Night annually and have raised thousands for local charities.  The team is also supportive of all athletes at Corry Area High School and they can be seen cheering on their peers at many of Corry's athletic events.
